If we show up only in our light,
we are denying an important part of our being.
The Alchemy of Descent is the journey down, to commune with the dark & powerful forces of the Dark Mother and the unconscious. This is an alchemical process with very clear phases. When we work with this material we meet with our gifts and strengthen our psychic self.

A six-month journey into the dark
As the year turns down and inward.
Toward the winter solstice.
As the days grow shorter,
we are invited to descend.
Into the underworld.
Into the places long forgotten,
avoided, evaded.
Into the familiar resentment
of the necessary descent.
There are seasons when life asks us
not to rise, expand or become more,
but to go down.
To enter the dark.
To meet what has been buried.
The grief.
The rage.
The secrets.
The parts of ourselves
we learned to hide, abandon or disown.
We have been moving through a death portal,
a reverse birth.
A shedding of what can no longer come with us.
And when we travel down,
we discover that the dark is not empty.
It is alive.
It holds memory.
Dreams.
Instinct.
Wisdom.
Power.
The Descent is an invitation to develop a different relationship with the dark.
To move beyond the fear of what cannot immediately be seen.
To learn how to sit with what is uncomfortable,
unknown and covertly powerful.
Through shadow work, shamanic journeying,
dark feminine archetypes, ritual, embodied practices
and the ancient medicine of circle,
we will turn towards the places within us
that are asking to be witnessed.
This is a journey of remembrance.
Of reclaiming what has been lost.
Of meeting the parts that have been exiled.
Of bringing light not to erase the darkness,
but to see what lives within it.
The work of descent is deeply personal.
There are places only you can enter.
And yet,
healing happens in community.
We will gather each month beneath the dark moon,
entering the liminal space between endings and beginnings.
Together, we will listen, journey, remember and witness.
A place to search in the dark.
A place to meet the shadow.
A journey into the dreamtime.
A return to the hidden.

Meet Lucybloom
For over a decade, I’ve devoted my life to the lunar path, embodiment work, and the reclamation of feminine wisdom. Over the years I have trained in Yoga, Traditional Tantra, Reiki, Somatic Parts Work, Shamanic traditions, Tarot and am currently training in Celtic Grief rituals and Somatic Focusing.
I call myself a Moon Witch because I live in deep relationship with the Moon, her phases, her rhythms, her teachings. I use her cycles to map my inner world and create my outer world, and this practice has shaped every part of my life.
Since 2018, I have guided hundreds of women through Sisters of the Moon, leading each coven along the Moon’s 6-month journey through the zodiac.
This method has never failed to transform, soften, awaken, and empower.
I would be honoured to walk this path with you.
