Every religion has included intermittent fasting as a part of their repertoire. Seen as a way to give the digestive system a break and a way to cleanse the internal organs, fasting can be a good way to re-set your system.  It doesn’t have to mean fasting yourself for days on end to reap the benefits. I have been doing this for a while now, giving my digestive system a break really helps to boost my energy levels. Overall, it will help with weight loss, stabilising blood sugar levels, improve heart health and cognitive function.

Quick and Easy Vegan Pizza

Quick and Easy Vegan Pizza

Probably the quickest dinner you'll make this year! 

For the base:

Lebanese Flatbreads (we usually get these from Lebanese or Turkish supermarkets, however, I'm sure there available in big supermarkets)

For the topping:

Either a passata or a vegan pesto for the base, both of these can either be made from scratch or shop bought. Harvest Moon do an excellent vegan pesto available from Supervalu.

Courgettes

Red Onion

Mushroom

Peppers

Shaved Sweet potato (shave with a potato peeler to get ribbons)

Crushed Garlic

Preheat the oven to 180degrees
